We cannot always control everything that happens to us in this life, but we can control how we respond. We owe a debt to our families and friends who have paid the ultimate price for being in the cancer battlefield. We have to join the battlefield and fight cancer to ensure our great nation stays free.
In the 21st Century, social media has become a catalyst for the advancement of rights on a local and global scale and Eddah’s Hope fight against cancer is no exception. Inaction by our generation is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action Eddah’s Hope takes will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow.
We have to devote our lives to a good cause and be brave enough to take a stance, though it may be controversial. Our ultimate challenge and Eddah’s Hope finest hour, is that moment when we will have worked our hearts out and lie exhausted on the field of battle victorious.
