The Eddah’s Hope Cancer Foundation team of #CancerSoldiers put aside some time to give back to the Texas Cancer Center by paying them a visit at their clinic located in Hurligham, Nairobi. Texas Cancer Center is dear to us as it was very helpful to our late mother during her fight with cancer. The visit was also to mark & celebrate Cancer Awareness Month, October.
We were joined by members of Healthy Woman, a health magazine publication house who were very kind to distribute several copies of their magazines, not just to us, but to the patients & staff at Texas Cancer Center. We are forever grateful for your support and company. We hope to have you with us on our next visit.
We managed to spend a little time with the patients, learning what they were going through as well as a little about their backgrounds. We had brought them some toiletries as well and the members distributed them to the happy patients.
After having some interaction with the staff as well, learning of their experiences as well as stories, we had a brief photo shoot.
